Seller and scope
Sales under the Tibet Thangka Gallery trading name are made by 藏唐(青岛)商贸有限公司 (Chinese registered company name; the “Gallery”). These terms apply together with the product record, checkout disclosures and written order confirmation. Last updated: 20 August 2026.
Object record
A listing distinguishes physical inventory from a concept display and separates documented facts from matters under review. Dimensions, condition, attribution, date, provenance and colour are stated only to the level supported by the current record. Ask for clarification before ordering.
Price, tax and currency
Artwork prices are fixed and shown in USD unless stated otherwise. Packing, insured carriage, applicable tax, customs charges and payment-provider conversion are separate unless the written order expressly includes them.
Order and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs only when the Gallery issues written acceptance after successful hosted payment, inventory confirmation and any required fraud, sanctions, export or destination review. An automated receipt alone is not acceptance.
Delivery, export and import
The Gallery confirms the carrier, packing, insurance, dispatch estimate and delivery milestone for the destination. The buyer must provide accurate recipient and customs information and remains responsible for lawful import and destination charges unless the written order says otherwise.
Title and risk
Ownership and risk transfer at the milestone stated in the order confirmation for the selected delivery arrangement. No ownership transfers before cleared payment. Report visible package damage to the carrier and Gallery before or at acceptance and retain packaging and photographs.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Mandatory consumer rights apply wherever they cannot lawfully be excluded. Any lawful exception for bespoke or made-to-order work is disclosed before payment; fragility alone does not remove statutory rights. Contact the Gallery before returning anything so insurance and handling can be arranged.
Condition and claims
Age, handmade materials, prior repair and screen colour can produce variation. A condition report is not a conservation warranty. Notify the Gallery promptly of a material discrepancy and preserve the object, packaging, photographs and delivery records while the claim is reviewed.
Liability and uncontrollable events
Nothing excludes liability or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, remedies are assessed against the accepted order and applicable law. Delays caused by customs, carriers, authorities or events beyond reasonable control are handled in good faith and communicated when known.
Law and disputes
The order confirmation identifies the seller, governing terms and available dispute route for the destination. Mandatory protections in the buyer’s jurisdiction remain unaffected. Raise concerns through the on-site enquiry form so the Gallery can investigate before formal proceedings.
