Our focus is Thangka painting and related Himalayan art, alongside commissions for wall pieces, narrative textiles and selected objects. The collection is deliberately small, allowing each work room to be seen in detail.
Looking beyond the first impression
Composition, surface, scale and condition all shape the experience of a work. Our catalogue brings photographs and written observations together; additional views can be requested when a detail needs a closer look.
Respect for context
Religious imagery deserves a considered explanation. A visual description is not the same as an identification or attribution. Where the subject, date or origin needs specialist confirmation, we make that distinction clear.
